Acoustic Requirements for Mastering Rooms

Mastering rooms require an exceptionally precise and controlled acoustic environment, since the final phase of the music production process depends on extremely detailed and accurate listening. The acoustics of a mastering room must allow for clear sound reference, without coloration or interference, so that engineers can make critical decisions that will translate across all platforms and playback systems.
